Welcome to SunriseAlarm with LIFX!Make your LIFX bulb(s) gently ease you in to waking up each morning without the hazel of a new alarm clock app!
Just set up SunriseAlarm with LIFX once and never worry about it again!
The science:Especially in the darker months many people suffer from the absence of light in the morning.
Light exposure in the morning pulls you gently and naturally out of slumber and can support a healthier hormone balance throughout the day.
It helps with keeping your cortisol and melatonin levels in check and thus can reduce stress, fatigue and (winter-)depression.

How it works:The system is queried for the next alarm and based on that information the bulb(s) are turned on before that alarm, emulating a sunrise in your bedroom.
For example switch the light on 20 minutes before the alarm, gradually raising the brightness to reach its maximum when the alarm goes off.
Or turn on the light 20 minutes before the alarm, but set the duration of the sunrise to 30 minutes, to make slumbering more "intense" ;-)

This app uses LIFX' cloud service.
You'll have to sign in with your LIFX account at cloud.lifx.com and generate a personal remote access token to use it.
Troubleshooting:• Use the debug info in the settings for clues what's going wrong.• Some apps create fake alarms to survive 'doze'.
These break SunriseAlarm!• SunriseAlarm needs a moment after the display is turned off, to do its thing.
Don't enforce 'doze' as soon as the display goes off!
(if you don't know what this line means, you should be save)• There might be something wrong with your LIFX remote access token.
Go verify it's correct!• Your bulb(s) might have stopped responding or dropped offline.
Try turning them off/on and make sure they are powered during the night!

The LIFX remote access token can be revoked at cloud.lifx.com at any time, rendering any stored information of this app useless.
